Mission Statement
“One person can have a profound effect on another. And two people...well, two people can work miracles. They can change a whole town. They can change the world.” Diane Frolov and Andrew Schneider
Our Story Reads This Way: We have been good friends since first grade, partly because we seem to have a lot in common. One of our interests are the arts; from writing to reading, we share a great deal of similarities and qualities; plus a passion for community outreach and helping others. Together we hope to become innovative trendsetters to spread youth awareness on research and cures. We hope to act in a perpetual motion, spreading this awareness to one person at a time, creating a chain of knowledge and strive to make these vital changes necessary.
Our mission is to raise enough money to be able to help make a difference for stem cell research in the United States. We envision a new kind of hope for those who suffer from different diseases and for the loved ones who suffer with them. The only thing that stands in our country’s way of accomplishing this is its lack of support. By supporting this cause, we hope that it will inspire many others to do so as well. We decided to achieve this by using our photography and through this expression making cards to sell. In addition, we will be annually fundraising through events and private solicitation.
While many local and national services have a strong community awareness, Stem Cell Research doesn’t top the list. The money we raise will all go towards stem cell research in the US. Our organization is founded on our want to help others, and our interest in stem cell research and the amazing possibilities that lie ahead. So many lives can be saved if we do something to help. Current stem cell research shows a lot of promise; however, research cannot continue without the support of others.
